This Guide includes exclusively entries on Agrotourism.

I always love to combine a visit to an Agro Hotel and see the country-life of the island. It is here where one can find the real authentic people and I advice those who plan a trip to Cyprus not to fly back without visiting and at least spending a few days at one such village.

Cypriot villages are known for their scenic views, adventurous nature trails and exotic wildlife. They offer at the same time a place for relaxation and the visitor will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the hospitality and kindness of locals.

The traditional way of life is still very alive in the villages.
Imagine spending some days in one such village and awaken to the sound of a cock crowing, or a donkey braying, enjoying breakfast in the shade of a vine with the smell of jasmine or wild thyme in the air, go for a walk in the pine-scented forest, watch how the local bread and "halloumi" are made and experience rural living at first hand.

The first 9 entries on this blog are all dedicated to the beautiful village of Vassa Koilaniou.  One can find details in the entries and have the opportunity to see the hundreds of photos that I have taken.

Of course there are scattered entries of former visits to different other villages that I have already visited on my previous Guides on Cyprus but I have decided to set apart all entries that have to do with Agrotourism from now on. For this reason anything that has to do with my visits to the countryside will be posted out here.

I truly want to believe that members or people who are following my travels will find much useful information that I try to give with as many details as possible and many photos.

Come along with me then to a beautiful trip to the amazing rural Cyprus!!!
