Leaving Budapest behind this morning after breakfast with a temperature of 36C degrees we reach Prague early afternoon with the temperature dropping down to 14C degrees less! Yes, here we need our anoraks and umbrellas. A number of people from the group were laughing when I urged them to carry their spring raincoats and umbrellas along.
The weather was rainy from the moment we reached the borders, and it chilly and raining when we came off the coach to walk to the hotel.
We are given just an hour and a half before our afternoon walking sightseeing tour in the city of Prague and I am anxious to get to our room and check if it is ok because we are spending 3 nights here so it has to be a good one.
Our room is fine. It is on the 6th floor away from the noise and overlooking the back indoor garden with the fountain. It has nothing to do with luxury of any kind but there are times when what matters is cleanliness and this I found here. This suite is just perfect for the 3 nights we are staying.
The suite is so spacious that I could have 3 children playing football! What I love is the huge marble bathroom which seems new with lots of bright white towels and a number of toiletries. The pieces of furniture in the suite are standard but I cannot complain. I appreciate the fact that there are coffee facilities and a mini bar for some cold water and the fact that our room is on the highest floor away from the noise makes me happy.
