The trek from Barcelona to Nice was a long one, over ten hours, but the views that we got on the way were well worth it!! The train took us through the southern tips of the Pyrennes and then to the beautiful southern coast of France. The beaches here are not as great as in Spain because most of them are very rocky, but the coastline and the views that you get from the beach are spectacular! Today we took a day trip from Nice to Monaco and Monte Carlo! Monaco is actually its own country and only takes up a small strip of coastline. The casino at Monte Carlo looked neat from the outside, we didn't go in because there is a dress code and we didn't make the cut, because of the countless Ferrari's and other exotic cars that were parked outside it. Tomorrow we have another 8 hour train ride from Nice to Venice, Italy.
