We are in Barcelona Spain and it is a crazy, sometimes scary (at night) place! Barcelona is home to F.C. Barcelona who just won the Barclays Premiership futbol, having one of the best players in the world in Ronaldinho! The city was also home to some great artists including Picasso and Gaudi! Gaudi´s famous La Sagrada Familia is a very interesting architectural piece. Although it is still unfinished and Gaudi is dead, work continues to be done under a different artists supervision. We are staying in a hostel that is near the famous street Las Ramblas!! It is crazy place, especially at night, with all kinds of street performers, scam artists, prostitutes, and dance clubs. Today we walked down the beach and got lost in the gothic quarter of the city where there are very old buildings, cathedrals and streets narrower than most house hallways. We witnessed michael jackson and countless other street performers trying to make a few Euro from the heavy traffic of tourists. Tomorrow we are off to Nice and back into France. It is a ten hour train ride and probably a total of about 14 hours of traveling!
