We woke up pretty early this morning and after dissecting the night some more with everyone, and realising that my foot was pretty sore after all from kicking Brian last night, Alice, Brian, his mate Eoghan, the two Barnet lads, Sam and Dan, and I decided we'd do the half-day boat tour around Phi Phi's two islands. We set off from the main bay and went first to Monkey Beach, which is exactly as the name suggests... a beach with monkeys on. Before we got there, there was talk of a friend of a friend of someone who had been bitten by one of these monkeys and had to have rabies shots injected straight into their stomach or something, so we were all slightly more wary than we had been on the boat over. The guides threw out bananas and bottles of Coke to the monkeys which they demolished pretty quickly, before we headed on to a little spot where we all did some snorkeling while others in the group who had paid more got to do some cliff jumping. There were some pretty cool fish floating around, and the sea was pretty clear, so we swam around there for about half an hour before moving on to the next snorkeling spot, where we might, apparently, see sharks, but as with every other snorkeling/diving experience of this trip where sharks are promised, we didn't't see any. The sea was really choppy, and a good few of us were starting to feel pretty sea-sick, so after one more quick stop for snorkeling, we were all pretty glad to arrive at Maya Bay, the beach from 'The Beach'. It was quite a bit smaller than I remember, but the view as you look out to sea is pretty spectacular. Dan, Brian, Eoghan and I managed to find a football, so were messing about with it in the sea before heading off back to the mainland at sunset.

Back on land, Alice and I were still feeling the seasickness a bit, but we all headed out for dinner before going to a chilled out little bar and on, once again, to Reggae Bar. Annoyingly, it started raining while we were there, but everyone headed down to the beach for a while anyway, before again, wandering home in dribs and drabs.
