Hot baths and more rain

(C) Holy Crap can it rain in eastern Europe.  For some reason, we decided it was time for a hotel, which maybe was one of our most brilliant decisions ever.  First of all, it got to about 300 degrees today, and we had to move to an air-conditioned room (which we had to pay extra for, but it was worth it).  Then, after spending the afternoon at the swimming pools, it started to storm and we ended up stuck in our car on the side of a street because I couldn't even see where we were going.  That stupid rain lasted for over an hour and we just sat there.  Then the next day we got lost trying to get back downtown and spent a couple hours driving around in the hills of Buda.  Sara was not so pleased and she almost got to get out and walk home to America.  :)

(S) Ahhh...heaven. We actually got to stay in the same hotel for two nights in a row! And it has a bathroom IN THE ROOM! We slept in and drove into the city for lunch. Which even though it is a billion degrees in this city, was delicious. Hungarian food is amazing - although come to think of it, I don't think I have disliked any food in any country thus far. But, it's good. And cheap. The exchange rate with the forint is still pretty good!

Then it was off to the Turkish baths called Széchenyi. It was full of large, hairy Eastern Europeans, but wonderful. I became addicted to the current pool - just riding it around like a river.

Later I think we saw a movie being filmed, but I can't be sure...
