(C) Whose idea was Munich anyway?  They should be given an award.  This place has a lot of good things going on - not the least of which is surfing in the city park, liters of beer in the city park, nude sunbathing in the city park, and giant beer halls.  All of these offer very high marks on my "you need these things for a good day" list.  The only downside was the lower than necessary ratio of young female sunbathers to old dude sunbathers.  But Sara seemed to like that part!  There is so much to see here we are coming back for a few days.

(S) Leaving our wonderful Bavarian paradise was hard, complete with a few mangy katzen and a few more mangy Buddhists, but on to Munich. As The Unc is our official German tour guide, the Hofbrauhaus was our first stop of the night. And our third. Neither the Moose nor the Unc got in any fights, but Karl did make friends on the subway.

Day 2: Why do Germans feel the need to take their clothes off ALL THE TIME? We spent most of the day strolling through the English Garden and saw one too many naked sunbathers. The old naked men, stretching and bending over alot, were my personal favorites. Oh - to clarify, the old men were NOT Karl and Chad.
