(S). Our wonderful home for a week. Annaliese is a long-time friend of Karl's dad's and she owns this house. Her dad built it and she has lived in it her whole life. Sadly, she gave up skiing a few years ago (she's about 89) and has sold Hochreute to the Buddhists. Meeting and talking with her was a real pleasure. She gave us a tip for cold feet, too - put cinnamon in your socks.
(C) Words can´t really describe it. There is so much history here and this lady and her family so much a part of the history of this town - and the Schippers´ german travels. We had some great food - a lot of it - several cases of good beer from the getrankenmarkt. We met several cats, including wooly, the mange cat. Tried katzenkase and played with the buddhists. Wonderful setting, time and memories.
