(S) My first trip to Germany!!! After my grandfather leaving this country 80 years ago, I'm finally here. We find a hotel with limited difficulty. It would seem Chad expects my German to be perfect - even though I took it for one year when I was 16. Let's face it, folks - that was a long time ago. Anyway, the only thing left is to find the Unc. We camped out at a bar outside the train station and of course he found us.

I can't even explain how wonderful it was to see someone from home. Or how great it is to speak English to someone other than each other :) If I forget to say it later, thanks Karl. It was great to spend the week with you.

(C) Not that Karl is Gufman, but we havenīt waited for anyone for so long, it seemed like forever and could have been Gufman.  Thankfully, the Unc showed up, with Big Dan in the car.
