(C) We took off down the coast in our car, since that's the only means by which a traveler can get here - I guess except for on their yacht, which we accidentally left in Montana.  And yes, although we're on our way to Aix, this seemed kind of on the way.  Cooler temps didn't stop us clowning around and wandering just a bit, but this place would be a LOT better with just a bit warmer temps.
