(S) Day two in the French Riviera. While the studio is simply fantastic, it is definitely a vacation apartment and is used by friends of my family for only short periods of time. We are pretty sure the longest people stay here is about 3 days. So when we woke up this morning, we had work to do - namely unpacking and cleaning and making the place liveable for a month.

Let me point out right here, as Chad said when we were packing, foodies have a very hard time traveling like this. We acquire things. Like a new bread grill, and an Italian coffeepot. And plastic containers. And 34 kinds of pasta. And parmesan. All this had to be packed in Florence into our sweet Fiat Punto and moved here. And then unpacked. So that's what we did.

Then we went for a walk along the beach. A trail runs from a small, secluded beach below our apartment all the way to Monte Carlo. Today, we tried out about half of it. Enjoy the pictures.
