As you can't add to or take away from the infinte we can't in any way exist alongside or even as a part of God (you can't divide infinite into parts). We are just a figment of God's imagination. That means that everything that happens, happens because God wills it. The reality we think we know is just the ultimate matrix.
So why bother with creation? To give us the ultimate ride; the illusion of free will. See through the matrix, choose to live according to Gods will, and we gain the pleasure of connection to the infinite.
How do we know Gods will? Look around

I finally left yeshiva last week and not before due. Jerusalem is a great place to visit but to live amongst the religious intensity and structure is stifling. That said I was a little sad to pack my bags and say goodbye to my roommate Yaacov. Three months in Yeshiva had given me the time and space to explore the nature of existence, God, the universe, and my own place inside it. In my next posting I'll explore the matrix argument above, summarise my yeshiva experience, and give my own life changing insights into the nature of reality.

Almost every day here I see things I'd like to capture on film and and share on my blog but unfortnately my camera died a while back in the sand on the beach in Tel Aviv. It was a brave death surrounded by 72 virgins in bikinis, but my grieving period now is over and it is time to move on. I have now added the 'support my travels' function to my blog.
