me: Its good, I like the fresh air
woman: You can sit on the row in front
me: You can go sit at the front where there are no windows open
woman: you're a real gentleman
It reminded me of something out of Seinfeld. (Five minutes later I closed it but next time I wont.)
I got into work to discover the office was closed and noone had bothered telling me - time to find a new job perhaps. Thankfully I had brought my climbing stuff and Elizabeth explained how I could get to the climbing wall in the .... park in North tel Aviv. I took the number 5 bus and stopped for brunch at a cafe on the way.
The park had a river running through it nd there were quite a lot of religious jews out for a stroll. the climbing wall didnt really compare to the ones in London - only 4 walls with bouldering on the inside. I did a bit of bouldering - thats when you free climb sideways on a small wall, usually with large grips but on a backward incline making it harder.
In the afternoon I checked out the Dizengoff centre which was full of kids on their hannuka break, and went to the beach where I fell asleep until the sun set over the sea. In the evening I went to a hannuka party in a night club with Johnny B. We got talking to a couple of girls - for some reason the pretty one semed more interested in Johnny. Later in the night they lit the hannuka candles in the club and everyone gathered round to watch. They seme to light the candles everywhere and anywhere and people will stop what they are doing to gather round and have a donut.
