SAdly leaving Sodwana, took bus to Durban and then hired a car. Drove from Durban to the Drakensburg MOuntains (Dragons' Mtns).
The scenery was amazing. I wanted to stop and cry a few times.
Am now ensconced on the Sani PAss, which leads to the border with Lesotho. We went up today to climb a rock, Hodgsons Peak. A relative baby, only 3250m approx. The scenery was awesome. We even stopped for a beer in Africa's highest bar on the way home. Not much to report in the way of Lesotho culture, but will look for more when I return to Lesotho next week (on the western side).
Current plan now is to drive north and climb another rock. After that head east to the battlefields (Rorke's drift being the best known).
Till next time guys :-)
