And so after our mad dash through Central America we made it in time for our flight home for our five day break back in Blighty. Once again the themes were catching up with as many family and friends as possible and drinking as much proper tea with milk as our stomachs could take.  We got back to beautiful weather for a couple of days in the Costa del Salisbury with Sarah's family which, inevitably was due to break into thunderstorms on the day of Tom & Corinne’s wedding, who we’d last seen in the rain on the Great Ocean Road.

On Saturday we duly headed off westward to add another country to our trip; Wales, where Corinne’s family are from and where the wedding reception was being held in their gorgeous garden.  After a trip down through torrential rain the weather thankfully brightened up in perfect time for the church service and drinks reception and it was a wonderful day.  It was fantastic to see so many old friends, to glam up, to strut our stuff to the brilliant band and to get to be there with the very happy couple on such a brilliant day.

After a hungover lunch with everyone on Sunday we loaded back into the car for a few days with Gordon’s family and to finally meet our gorgeous new niece Chloe (or Blowie as her sister Elsie has now christened her).  All too soon it was time to head back to the heat of Mexico – but goodbyes were a little easier this time knowing it wouldn’t be too long until we’re home to see everyone again.

Congratulations again Tom & Corinne (dare we say Mr & Mrs Clarke?!) and thank you so much for letting us be part of your wonderful day - you looked amazing, it was an honour to be there with you and we had an absolute blast!
