The island is especially popular with Swedish tourists: although the "tourist language" is English as it is in most places in Thailand, and you will find menus and so on are translated into English, expect the poolside language to be Swedish much of the time. We hit the island about 2 weeks after most of the Swedish people had gone home, so it was somewhat quiet.
As you can see, we rented a tuk-tuk for the day and went around the island. Me as driver and Darcy giving directions (each turn). Included are some pictures of the pier where we had dinner and of the bird cages (singing birds inside) which the local keep for good luck.
