We made it to our next country Cambodia! Grabbed a taxi from the airport, which charged based on how many stops they make (surprising pricing method). Found a hotel right on the river and checked in, then went and found some dinner. We found the city to be a mix of old buildings and new ones, as it goes through a major redevelopment endeavor.
As with most cities we went to the local market, which sells everything from fruit, meat to haircuts. Which you can see I find a barber and Darcy took the pictures.
Today we went to the Royal Palace which they only allowed us to go into 2 buildings and no pictures could be taken inside. Then we went to the Silver Pagoda which houses a gold Buddha with 2,086 diamonds, the largest being 25 carats (again no pictures allowed). Our last stop was the National Museum which was interesting showing the history of the Khmer artwork (again no pictures allowed).
