Getting from Mysore to Fort Kochi was not a simple task as I hoped. Because of the mountains the lie between the two cities you either had to take a three hour train ride back to Bangalore and then over to the coast on a overnight train or a bus to the coast, which did not look to comfortable. I hoped to find a car to take us directly there one-way.   It worked after talking to many cab driver’s over our stay in town.

Many tourist stop at Fort Kochi for the old Portuguese town, church (oldest in India), Chinese nets (see video) and the great amount of restaurants that service Kerala and western food. We stayed four days and enjoyed the town very much.

Wondered what happened to you two. Heard nothing for several days. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Very interesting.
