Once again we invite you to come along with us on our 5th spellbinding escapade through the seventh-largest country on the planet, India! Home of the most populous democracy, with over 1.18 billion people. India’s astounding diversity of religions, languages, and cultures is unique and unparalleled. This vast subcontinent, is known for its colorful people, nature, culture, fairs, festivals, forts, palaces, architecture, temples, beaches, music, dances, art and humanity. Indian culture is considered to be amongst the world's oldest, richest and most diverse.

Starting in the capital New Delhi, we will work our way via plane, train and automobile though time and space.  From a new modern India having the 11th largest and one of the fastest growing economies in the world to cities, temples and customs over 5,000 years old. The country holds so many different landscapes: the spiritual, historical, geographical and then there’s the food.

Over the next almost five (5) months sit back, open up your computer and join us with pictures, videos and blog entries of what we hope will be another great experience in travel.

Have a blast! Be sure to see the initiation ceremony when they walk across a bed of burning coals if you get the chance. I saw the Sikhs do this on Fiji and could hardly believe it.

I am pumped up! Your first post depicts your intent to provide a comprehensive and compelling narrative that will rivet and immerse your readers in the details and passion of your experience. I know you will continue to provide the most amazing photos and videos of your adventure. I only hope that Darcy will learn to use the video so we can see Lawrence walking across intersections of fast moving cars in uncontrolled intersections or riding wild animals. Best wishes from our family and safe journey!
