Our entry into Costa Rica was as the title says the "Border from Hell".  The taxi dropped us off at what was a line of about 2,000 people waiting to cross into the country!  I had Darcy wait in line with our bags to check-out why so many people were in line.  The answer 3 workers checking passports!

A man comes up to me and says in Spanish-English that for $5 each we can go though the "express line" and not have to wait. Thinking that this was a special system, I agreed and he gave me the forms to enter Costa Rica, which I completed.  After that he had me follow him to the building for processing, in which I learned the express line was the he pushed me in front of the line and had the guard OK me to go into the building!  It should have been call express butting!

We were processed into the country in about 30 minutes (I talked to people that did not use the express system, 3-4 hours). We have been to many countries, but this was the worst I have seen the entry process.

Sorry to those that my read this and I butted in front of!
