Some facts on them: the leopard is an agile and stealthy predator, smaller than the other members of the cat family. The leopard is still able to take large prey given a massive skull that well utilizes powerful jaw muscles.
Head and body length is between 35 and 75 inches, the tail reaches 24 to 43 inches. Shoulder height is 18-31 inches. Males are about 30% larger than females, weighing 82 to 200 lbs compared to 62 to 132 lbs for females (I think we saw a female).
The view of the Olifants River from our bungalow was the best view we have every seen! Elephants, Hippo and many other animals living their daily life in peace.
