We made it to Cape Town! It was a long trip 24 hours, from Friday afternoon in Washington until Saturday night in Cape Town. The time difference is 7 hours ahead of Eastern Time back in the States.
Our first breakfast was ostrich steak and eggs!!! A standard Cape breakfast.
The first few days we walked around town (Long Street), saw the flower stands near the main train station and down to the City's prime Atlantic coast "Waterfront" for shopping (African Masks), drinking (good beer) and some great food. The view is impressive with the Table Mountains as a backdrop.

This doesn't look like Kansas anymore.....
Much LOVE to both of you. The weather and views look AWESOME, but I am so confused....I am blond you know. When did you all leave town? Jim didn't say a word. Was it a fast retreat for a reason? The Rockville police had your number?
Enjoy yourselves and I know you will. We will just be SO jealous from afar.
Love - Casey
Told Jim
I told your husband that we were leaving the end of Jan!
