Usaually I wouldn't have my departure city as its own entry, but my time in Charlotte warrented one. After an easy 1 hour flight from JC, I landed in Charlotte expecting a 3 hour layover. Instead that layover turned out to be 9 hours! I was bummed about the delay, but not really angry. I was passing the time texting a few friends and talking to some people around me. I met alot of interesting people. I met an American family leaving the country for the first time. I was giving them some tips about International Travel and they were telling me about Washignton State, which is where they were from. I also met and chatted with a British couple named Tom and Susan. They were around my age maybe a bit older and they were really nice. They were coming from Florida, where they vacationed to escape the cold in England (I don't blame them!) We talked about Orlando and its attractions for awhile ( I have family in the area) and then they told me some travel tips and reccondmendations for London. We exchaned information and hope to meet up when I go into London. The flight was pretty smooth. We didn't leave untill midnight-ish but the actually flight was quicker than expected. Although I had barley any room (as usual) I was still pretty comfortable. i had an asile seet, and although I would have prefered a window, an aisle is a good compensation. We had a touchsreen Tin front of every seat with our choice of movies. I chose Crazy, Stupid Love which turned out to be a great choice. I love anything Steve Carell is in, and this was no exception. After that, I tried to sleep but only managed 2 hours at the most. When I awoke I notcied we only had 3 more hours to go so I spent my time reading and listening to my Ipod. The flight lasted a total of about 7 hours from takeoff till landing. I filled out my customs card right before we toucheddown and then I was on my way!
