Looked like a nice day today so we set off early for the beach. When we got there we settled down for some serious sun bathing , and what do you know, bloody whales started leaping out of the water just outside the reef. So we had to do more whale watching, actually this was quite spectacular, these whales were leaping right out of the water and crashing back down with a big splash.

Eventually they moved off and we could relax and enjoy the sun (life is such a bitch ,J)

Later we had a walk up one of the valleys, it was a nice walk with a few river crossings along the way, then on the way back a group of people on quad bikes came roaring past us. They didn't really look like they were in control of the bikes, but still they managed to pass us without us needing to get too far back in the bushes. As we walked back down the valley we had to cross the streams agan, this time they were really muddy because of the quad bikes, so more difficult to cross because we couldn’t see the rocks on the bottom.

Milo said if they try to pass us on the road back down the Valley we should ride real slow in the middle of the road and not let them pass. Well that didn’t happen because they didn’t come back down the track by the time we got to the end of the road, shame J.

Later we drove off to the game fishing club hoping to see the whales again, and as an extra bonus it was happy hour from 4 to 6, and they have a wi-fi hot spot. The cheap drinks and the wi-fi were good, but no whales L.
