The Belgian coastline is so short i managed to blast straight through the country in 1 day. The whole coastline is crammed with beachside appartment blocks and because the weather has been A-class, the place was heaving with beach- goers grinning from ear to ear.
The landscape is dead flat and i'm starting to see more and more locals on bikes, literally hundreds of them. Deadicated cycle lanes are starting to become abundant too, cyclists get treated like royals here, we have the right of way over cars everywhere. Very very cool.
Got a bit more bold pitching my tent tonight. Went into the middle of a paddock opposite a local farmers house. Was thinking to myself 'what would Les Paddison be thinking if...'
Pulled it off nicely though, packed up and f......d off in the morning leaving only a tent print in the grass.
