Between Montreal and Sherbrooke

Pity - we treated Sherbrooke as a poorest of cousins on a big wedding party: Montreal
of course, was the real thing.
There was no chance that we find spare room in a front garden to place a tent around Montreal that summer. We commuted between Sherbrooke and Montreal and although four of us were drivers, it was exhausting. Then, eventually, nobody wanted to go even for free to watch fencing or rowing events like canoeing. The motel in Sherbrooke was perfect: two pools, airy rooms, facilities, decent service, crisp linen, just under $40 a night for the room.
