While my father was alive we traveled to Bulgaria often. The single reason was to bring him love, support for his lone days, revive him. He reciprocated magnificently. This time he arranged a holiday.

My son Igor was four but he behaved like a prince on the bar of the roof-top restaurant of Istanbul Hilton. He does that now also, but he is nearly 44 and is Consul-General of Macedonia in the imperial city which keeps the world record of the highest number of consulates on the planet. When the captain of the establishment, we latter made good friends, came to ask what could he offer us, my son said, in English:
-If it is not a trouble, cola for me and whiskey for my dad.
