Georgi Zahariev was a mighty fine person, a good man in principle and an excellent, trusted friend who was, at the time, a big boss of the biggest food and general merchandise chain of stores in the fair city of Plovdiv, once Philipopouli. He and his wife Vesa with their daughter (whose name evades me now) lived in a house on Oplcenska Str. Nr.8. The building never got finished: barren bricks outside, no hand-rails on the naked cement stairs inside, ugly like hell but warm with love of angelic provenience.
