We all meet up at Windows for breakfast and listen to the announcement that tells us that it is chilly outside, so bundle up. We'll soon find out that that is an understatement. This morning, the restaurant isn't offering anything special so we'll have to stick with what's offered on the menu, which is actually a nice selection.
But Ma-ma tries to convince our waiter to add some bell pepper and onion to her scrambled eggs. She needs to quit!
We finish up breakfast and bid David and Arlette farewell. They're off to await pick up by David and Sinitta. Meanwhile we all head back to our rooms to retrieve our carry-off items and await our color to be called. The once pristine atrium area now looks like a holding pin for refugees, as the remaining passengers wait to be called to disembark. At least everyone is pleasant and smiling because we've all just completed a week-long cruise through Central America.
Finally, they call the purple group and we hop up and quickly make our way off the ship. It has to be about 40 degrees outside, a huge change from the 80-degree weather we had experienced over the last week.
This has truly been a birthday trip to remember. What a surprise for everyone. Hats off to Michael and David for pulling it off and to Pa-pa for being such a good sport. Not everyone likes surprises, but he was truly a trooper on this trip. I'm definitely looking forward to our next journey.

Rise and shine early for one last breakfast on board ship. Since we didn't want to drag our suitcases off the ship ourselves, we set our luggage outside our door last night to be retrieved by the cabin stewards and moved out. This means we're on the ship's schedule and will be called with the purple group, so we must be ready to disembark when they call our color. David and Arlette opted to carry their luggage of themselves.
