Well as always, the night before any of our trips is usually going over all that we want to take and deciding on those things that are really necessary.  One of our favorite must-take items is tons of snack (a few sweet treats and  lots  of trail mix)    The great thing about that is, they require only one-way packing.  We usually eat everything and have enough room to bring home any items we wish to have to remember our visit to the places we've visited.

It's always fun watching Anita decide what to bring to wear.  For me, it's as simple as determining how many days and how often I'll see anyone who will remember what I wore the day before.  Two pairs of pants and several shirts usually works for me; one pair of comfortable shoes plus the ones I'll wear.  Since the weather will be somewhat unpredictable in France, and the possibility for rain and some chilly days exists, we will have to be prepared.

Early this week, U.S. President Barack Obama and wife Michelle decided to leave for their first European trip and with all the attention and preparation for their first visit, we are certain their advance team made sure everything will be just fine for the arrival of the Globetrotters and their first visit to the South of France.  Who knows,  we might even have a chance to do lunch with the Obamas since both our times in Europe will overlap.  We'll see. Once again we are traveling with great expectation, and who knows, we might even discover a few new opportunities during this trip.

So stay tuned as yet another Globetrotters Adventure unfolds. We promise to keep you posted on all that takes place.  Au revoir!
