Hi, everyone. Ok, enough talking about our trip, time to actually go. Quick background for those of you who don't already know, this is sort of like a honeymoon, only really really late, two years late actually. Blame me, Seth, I'm kinda slow with stuff sometimes, examples one might choose: proposing, actually getting married, growing up, etc. So anyway, we saved up some dough and are now about to spend it having the time of our lives, six months worth. Roughly speaking, our itinerary is one month in Peru, one month in Brazil (where I will purchase by first set of Speedos), followed by four months in SE Asia to be randomly spent in Thailand (where Caroline will ride her first Elephant?), Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Please keep in touch, check back regularly as things could get interesting. Ciao

Lea is connected from home!
Hi my dearest globetrotters,

I am very glad to announce that I got a laptop and an internet connection. So you'd better watch out 'cause I am watching you everyday now (vous êtes sous l'oeil de Moscou, ha, ha,ha).
Seriously, I was very happy to read your exciting diary from Asia and would just jump into the next plane to join you if I could!!Thanks for letting us poor working people enjoy your trip after working hours. It is so refreshing to receive news from people having fun! (no,no I am not a bit jalous..hem..hem)
If news from cold and snowy Switzerland interest you, then you have to know that winter has arrived and mountains are full of snow. The ski slopes will just be perfect once you arrive in Switzerland in February.
I am waiting impatiently for my Christmas break. No big plans though, but having a week off to relax will be great!
I will stop my message here as it is my first attempt to write via your web site and I am not sure if my message will reach you.
Take care and go on sending us gorgeous pictures and exciting news.
Big hugs

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year my dear globe trotter. Wonder how and where you have celebrated New Year. I hope you are in good health and continuing enjoying your amazing trip. I have celebrated New Year with Hiro and some 20 friends in Geneva. Just had a week holiday that I spent here in Geneva. Nothing very exciting, but I really enjoyed my very Swiss holiday. Not having to get up early and having time to meet with my family and friends was great. I just missed you! I look forward to receiving some fresh news from the Far East. Lots of love. Léa

green with envy
Hey Seth and Caroline,
While I must admit that I am green with envy, I am also so glad for you. Such an amazing holiday! My big adventures of late consist of flights around B. C. and driving down to see Steve and Dad. Happily I have a meeting in Palm Springs in April and going to a conference in Hawaii in March, so I will something more than the back of the car in front of me as I drive to and from work.
I've taken a few minutes to look at some of your pictures, and will be going through all of them on the weekend.
Love you more than the same old routine day after day,
