Houston

February in Houston could be brutally cold. But this year, winter had been pleasantly mild in the largest city in Texas. However, as I was yearning for the beach in the middle of winter, the only place to naturally go to was South America. Lying on the beach and enjoying the long summer days in February was not a bad idea if one also wanted to experience the exciting pre-Carnival celebrations.
