I am headed back to Rishikesh today, since I have never felt comfortable in Uttarkashi. It is a lovely setting, but there is only one less than inspiring restaurant that I could find that is very expensive, almost no one speaks English, and there is no place to go and enjoy the Ganges in the shade when it is sunny and warm enough to go. So I am pretty much stuck in my hotel room on a noisy road.

The magnetism of Rishikesh asserts itself once again!
