Sirens Song

Its been written that the sea calls a sailor as a siren. This is true, but often home calls louder and the call is getting louder for Sue and me. We left home last April 20 and while it has been an amazing sojourn, we are very ready to see home. So with just 100 miles to go before returning "First Forty" to Atlantic Yacht Basin in Norfok Virginia for its off-season "slumber", this will be the last installment in this BLOG. We are now in the home stretch and motoring on flat seas halfway down the bay. The skies look as if winter is near and we are beginning to thing of warmer places. Even our mechanical pet "Art" the parrot is saying "Islands.. Islands" 'mon.
The trip has been amazing, but a couple can only live in 40x15 space so long. We miss our friends, our home, our big screen, Desert Mountain and even the Sonoran desert. We will be back and start another Blog for the trip to Bahamas we will begin 12/1.
Thanks to all of have read any or all this blog. The trip has been amazing. When I am on a high speed line at home, I will load a few dozen pictures.
Peace

Great Trip
This was my first time following a blog like this, it was truly amazing. Thanks very much for allowing us armchair sailors to tag along. Good luck, and I look forward to your next adventure.
