Three years.
Yes, three years ago today my wife and I were married in a small town just northwest of Kansas City, Missouri called Sugar Creek. While that is not really where my wife wanted to get married, there was a beach in Hawaii somewhere that she had in mind, it was something that we compromised on so that my family and friends could be part of our celebration.
We've had a great deal of activity that has happened during our three years of marriage, we've moved, had job changes, a big drama of having two mortgages, finally selling the albatross of a house and now having to deal with work related separation during our three year wedding anniversary.
Through all of those trials though, we've managed to stay together and begin to work as a team. Of course that's not to say that there will be other challenges out there but I think we both have a better understanding of each other because of everything we've been through so far.
So I'd like to wish my wife a very happy anniversary from across the globe! I'd raise a glass of Guinness to her if I wasn't working right now, but she knows that I'm more of a Bulmer's kind of guy.
