Situation Normal...
Oh eight. Oh eight. Oh eight.
I guess I could have started this entry at 8:08 this morning or if I had the laptop, I could have written it at 20:08 tonight just to keep with the theme, but I was busy troubleshooting some things here at work so I was all caught up in the moment and didn't get to it.
Yes, as you still might have guessed, we're on Day Three of the Clearance Delay Watch.

I still have a little bit of hope as it is only noon here and who knows, it could turn up before I head back to the flat for the weekend
Wow.
I wonder if DHL delivers on Saturday?
In other news, arriving this morning and taking my usual journey up the elevator I managed to get the one that lost power on the 5th floor. It did a little hop, a couple of bounces and then just stopped. At least it had stopped in line with the 5th floor so that the doors could open and I wasn't caught between floors. I rang the bell a couple of times, hit a couple of other floor buttons to see if it would move but in the end, nothing was happening so I stepped out on to the fairly dark 5th floor, hit the elevator call button and waited for another elevator. It was kind of eerie standing in the elevator lobby at 6:30 in the morning with only the dim lime green glow of the elevator button to light anything.
My Pet Rock and I went down to the Cafeteria this morning so I decided to take some pictures of the "You Are Here" maps on the 10th and 2nd floors just to have something to do and so that Rock would not feel so neglected. One more week to go though.
Oh and happy start of the whatever it is Olympiad.

Jollibee & Rock
. My bid for Thursday the 14th is still looking good though as does the 20 to 1 odds for today, but those odds are failing fast. I guess new odds are in order for next week with Monday rolling in at 5 to 1, Tuesday 10 to 1, Wednesday 15 to 1, Thursday 20 to 1 and Friday at 25 to 1. I will be in the office on Friday so there is a good chance that I will get it then as well. That would mean to ship a product from Kansas City to Manila will take approximately 15 days.Wow.

What the?
Still can't sleep? 6:30?!?! Jeez... Well, I'm crossing my fingers for the laptop too but I'm not holding my breath. I went thru the same wait too. So much for 1 day Express Service.
