I woke up pretty early..I was very excited to get my day started. I ate breakfast at my hotel because it is all-inclusive for each day I stay. I wanted to get a good look of the entire city, so I decided to take a tour. Hamburg is the only city where you can take a tour by boat. I went on the Alster-Boat-Ride. I took the same walk I did last night to the Binnenalster which is on Jungfernstieg. Jungfernstieg is basically the main street of Hamburg. All the coolest department stores and shops are on this street. The Binnenalster is where the boat ride begins and goes north into the Aussenalster. The tour was beautiful. I got to take a look at all the most interesting parts of the city. We rode all the way up Lake Alster. When we stopped, I went to eat at Cafe' Leinpfad..it had a gorgeous view of the lake. We headed back. I took a lot of pictures on the boat. After the ride, I did a little bit of shopping on Jungfernstieg street. I bought a pair of earrings for my mom at one of the boutiques. I walked back to my hotel. I was still stuffed from lunch so I passed on dinner for that night.
