This weekend was quite a adventure, probably the most adventurous since I have been on Jeju Isand. We decided because Sam and Simone are leaving in a few weeks that it would be best to check out Udo Island for the weekend. Get a Pension for Saturday night and just enjoy the sights, sounds and locals Udo has to offer.

We set out on Saturday around 1 pm to swoop up everyone who was coming the van with us for the weekend. Kyndra had two friends coming in by Ferry that arriving in at 1:20. Everyone who lived in Schi Schong met at the van around 12 got our stuff together, picked up some grocerys for the island and heading to grab Jordan and Adam who had arrived from ther Ferry. Once everyone was situation we had a total of 12 people heading to Udo for the weedend. I drove the van and we packed 9 other people coming from pretty much every continent in the van. We had people from France, UK, England, Canada, US its was quite a sweet scene to see. Two of the other guys couldnt fit so they drove there bikes to Udo.

Once we were settled in we headed to the Ferry to get our tickets to take the van and bikes over the Udo Island to have some transportation. A bit of background Udo Island is a island off of Jeju that is very small they have a population of no more than 150 people who live on the island so as you can picture in your head the island has a very local feel. Once we hoped the ferry it took us maybe twenty minutes to get to Udo where we were gonna stay for the weekend.

We arrived to Udo around 4:30 or so, drove around the island to get our barrings and see where we wanted to crash for the night. As we were driving we found the sweetest rock cliff that was to say the least breath taking it was the most amazing thing Ive ever been around or seen in my life. I still thinnk pictures dont do the sights justice. We stopped there taking a lot of photos and exploring the find we made. We went down to the bottom of the rock cliff and explored caves that were a under the rocks. When your there and actually in that particular moment you dont realize how breath taking it is and how things of that nature were actually created. Such an amazing experience that was somthing worth doing.

We finally were done exploring and it was getting dark so we went and found a pension about 15 minutes from the Ferry and called it a night there. We ate some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten, played some pool and just enjoyed each others company and had a great night. I didnt know this before but a pension is a huge room where you stay. We all paid 10,000 won (10$) for a huge room. Everyone had a pillow and a blanket so it really wasnt nothing special but non the less it was a special moment.

The next morning we got up around 10 hung around for a bit walked on the beach and decided it was time to call it a day becasue Jordan and Adam had to catch a farry back to Hopko on the mainland because they had school on Mon. We tried catching the ferry at twelve but our luck just missed it. We bought tickets for the 1 o'clock ferry and then had a hour to kill. Adam discovered the ATV's so we decided to kill 45 min. renting ATV's and exploring the island for a little longer. Everyone got there own there was like 10 of us cruising the island finding lost trails that lead to know where just to turn a find a sweeter trail. Such a good time crusin on Udo island on a ATV's. Probably the best hour Ive ever killed in my life.

For now Im back at school blogging the weekend it was so cool shared a ton of great moments with friends that I have become close with we call the crew the VANS crew because the crew wouldnt be the crew if there was no VAN. Unilt next time take it easy and keep it real.
