Dublin, Gotta love it too!

Hi everyone. Happy belated Thanksgiving! It was weird out here last Thursday, it was just another day, I even had an exam! I for sure missed being with the family and friends that day but I still got to enjoy a nice Spanish take on a traditional turkey dinner. Some American football would have been great with it! Now that I am all set up with internet access, I am ginally getting caught up with travel updates and pics. All in all, Dublin is an awesome place to see. A nice mixture of an urban capitol city with plenty of greenery and history. The cool thing also is that there are several day trips that you can take from Dublin to see all kinds of stuff outside of the city. One thing to watch out for in the pricyness of every thing. Although Ireland uses the Euro as their currency, they pertain to the United Kingdom which is one of the most expensive places to visit in Europe. Although hostels were reasonably cheap, finding a meal for less than 10 euros per person ($14.50) is pretty much impossible. A pint at the local pub with run no less than 6 euros. A buddy of mine payed over 7 euros for a pack of cigarettes! Although pricy, I would for sure go back there someday when I have a little more time and a lot more money to be able to do more siteseeing throughout all of Ireland. More adventures coming soon!
