A beautiful day and a lovely drive into the city of Lucerne. The weather is sunny, but still quite cool as there is a light breeze blowing. After walking through the markets and grabbing a falafel kebab, it even had tabbouleh, we went and watched the day go by sitting by the lake.

The multitude of swans and ducks provided us with entertainment as they swam, fought and flew around the lake. We walked across Chapel Bridge and through the old town.

I went and had a look around the watch shops, although most of the ones I liked, I definitely couldn't afford, most being around the $5 - $10,000 mark!

We had dinner in an Italian restaurant on the river bank. The food was nice, but definitely not exceptional. The waiter however was very entertaining and the place was packed. There are so many restaurants along the river bank to choose from.
Sunday is definitely family day out. Many families, or Dad's seem to take their kids to the park where they play on the equipment, play giant checkers, darts or one family even had a game of shuttlecock happening. We even saw couples and groups of teenagers playing cards in the park. Perhaps something can be said about no Sunday trading.
