The drive was pretty ok, no real nerves to fight (Ken driving). Our campground is rustic (no hook-ups), but we have times we can run generator - after we ditched the camper we went into town and walked on a trail that you can access right behind the cutest little hospital I've ever seen (I've seen nursing homes bigger than this). It's called the Fenland Trail, it is near a marsh, very low land in the mountains (part of what they call the montane, where many animals find shelter and food in winter) - nice easy flat trail for about 2 km (about 1 1/4 miles) - not bad compared to some of the ones we've taken. No animals, nice lush sceenery and two creeks, we had a lot of fun just dinking around and being silly on the trail ( sorry did not take my camera).

And then for the highlight of Allison's trip, we went into town, had an appetizer and a beverage at an Iriah Pub and then went to see Eclipse (the trd installment to the vampire series, she says everyone will know what the movie is) - I had very little idea, however we did watch the first two movies in the camper on different nights when we had electric hook-ups (a lot of campgrounds that are full service with all the utilities don't let you have a campfire so we watch a movie instead, we do have a TV that we can hook up to watch a movie, when not in use it sits in the very little bathtub.

I liked the movie, so did Ken, Allison loved it and thinks we are the best parents ever!

That may be that's because you are really, really close to being the best [parents ever. So in case you are wondering, I agree with Allison!!
