Feb. 3-12, Napanee, Ont.

Gord had and opportunity to travel to Napanee, Ontario to watch and co-coach the Yukon Junior Girls curling team with favourite daughter Lindsay again this year. Although we did not perform as well as we could, everyone learned a tremendous amount.  Our four wins this year and 4 last rock losses will help the team prepare for next year.  It was fun to see all my girls again!!

While Gord was at the Junior Curling Championships, I had a mini quilt retreat here in Yuma. Judy & I quilted pretty much every day and evening. Got a lot accomplished. Fun and friendship quilting.

Gord's sister Barb came over from San Diego to spend two nights with me while Gord was away. We had a great time at the flea market, actually had to make 3 trips back to her car to get all our stuff loaded!!!! Even had to make an extra trip back in the morning before Barb left….just to get a couple more things!!!! The flea market is an amazing place, all the things to buy, but don’t really need. We did get a lecture from Scott when he came to the market with us about "needs & wants"!! Leave your visa card at home”. Where have we heard that before!!!
