Well, we wanted storms and waves and wow did we get our share. 33 foot waves crashing along the shores, over into the parking lots. Awesome sight to see. So we got baptised twice!!!  At least we were in the jeep. Taking pictures through the open window, Gord just got his closed on time before we got hit. Walking along the shores, there was always salt spray in your face. We did a bunch of geo-caching today so that took us to quite a few different beaches and tourist things to see.

This is a wonderful RV park to stay in, we are spolied now. It`s gated, paved pads to park on, pool, walking trails and you can hear the ocean roaring. They do have certain rules though for these winter storms. Like bring your slide in if you leave your unit unattended as the winds come up quickly. We sleep with it in, just in case storms come the one last night. The motrohome was rocking with the wind.  And it really was the wind making it rock!!! Another thing they do is have all the picnic tables turned upside down, otherwise the winds will blow them away or into someone`s unit. We had trouble standing in the winds yesterday.

This part of the Oregon Coast is spectacular and highly recommended. It is slow driving as the roads aren`t the best, but slow gives you a chance to gawk!! Good thing the sun isn`t shining or Gord would have a sunburn on the roof of his mouth. We are sure there is more to come.
