Thank's to Jasna and her brother Tonci, I had again my own key to his Apartement. Located in Morden Street between the UIC campus and the Mexican area. The Apartment was Chiswick style and all the people very nice.

The first thing I did in Chicago was going to a finance lesson at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) with Tonci: "Future value of the money" Well in my case there is no future money....

Chicago looks and act's like a big city but doesn't fell like one. Everything is big here. The biggest fountain, the biggest aquarium, the biggest Chewing Gum manufacturer (Wrigleys), the worlds biggest public library and the worlds larges polish population outside of Warsaw (I wonder if Ilona knows that).

It's also called the windy city and they also had a great fire like London (in 1871) which destroyed the whole city except of the water tower which was build out of stone's.
The Skyline is more spacious then in New York, they have huge parks between the lake Michigan and the City and really nice beaches with golden beach sand. Unfortunately the bikini-season is over :-(

Friday night we celebrated Tonci's 21st birthday in their flat and then went out to a party from the Croatian Radio in Chicago. The beer was good, the music Croatian, no further comments :-)

I watched the soccer game UIC Chicago (Tonci's team) against Detroid. It was very exiting as I knew half of the team but UIC lost 2:1

With the "best" HotDog (It doesn't matter what's in it, but what's on it) and the "best" Pizza outside of Italy (5cm high) they say a trip to Chicago is complete.

Tonic, Steve and Paulo thank again for everything!
