Went for a long walk in the afternoon round Benodet's eastern beaches, got a bit lost - the usual, but the boys all did very well and we probably covered about 7km. Then back to the apartments for a swim...tea...the usual.
After breakfast (fresh baguettes and croissants from the boulangerie opposite the apartments) we headed off in the car towards Pont l'Abbe to explore the coast as it was a bit too chilly for the beach. After a very brief stop-off in Loctudy (a fishing port, where the boys were fascinated by a truck being filled with fish guts, hundreds of gulls swarming it) we headed towards Penmarc'h and St Pierre to see the lighthouses. The boys were more keen to explore the rocks, though. Then Pont l'Abbe for lunch where Alec discovered crepes at the 4 Saisons Creperie (he ate three, in case anyone's asking).
