Today we woke up early to return to Lake Louise and Lake Morraine. I hiked up to Little Beehive to take some videos and pictures. It's about 5km long and 1600m up! I got up there in about 1 and 1/4 hours. It was pretty deserted because it was barely 10am, and Lake Louise starts to get busy at around 11. While I hiked, mum and dad did a hike of their own up to Fairmount's lookout tower (another mountain on the other side of Lake Louise). From there, they went to Lake Morraine, which is famous for being on the old $20 bill. The water is a deep blue and the mountains reflect so clearly in it. After our walks, we drove through the Rockies to Salmon Arm to visit the Flemings. Pastor George and his wife, Janet, lived in Wallaceburg for several years, and he was the pastor at Charlemont, my home church. After a brief rest at their place, we went out for dinner to a Greek restaurant called Milos. Turns out that we love Greek food! Dessert was back at the Flemings and we returned to the hotel for an early start to get to Vancouver.
