I know I don't update my blog very often. I really do no have time. I am working many hours per day, and when I don't work I read or travel. The The most exciting thing I did recently was to go with the 'Community Health doctors' to visit the villages which do not have access to other health services. This involves going in a van to the villages, putting a table underneath a tree and do consultation. The doctors visit the villages once per month, so they were very busy. I could walk around the villages, people were really very friendly and they love being photographed.
The 15th of August was the Independence Day day in India, and I visited some nearby villages as well. The children are particularily entertaining.
I spent last weekend screaming and following me for hours to get photographed with their friends. I nearly damaged my camera, having fifteen children pushing and grabbing trying to see their faces in the little digital screen Against the evil eye!
Against the evil eye!
.
I spend last weekend at my dance teacher's house (yes I do Indian dancing!). It was very nice, we did some yoga and walked in the forest.
The course started three days ago. It is particularly challenging, as the audience was pretty aggressive at the start. But I managed to keep control and I think it is going well after all. But I have to say that Indian men are not the easiest audience, at least they are very different to what I have been exposed to so far.
As you can imagine, the pictures are of people, people, people. Enjoy them along with some comments about the context of each photo.
