Headed Noth today to visit thecity of York. It is surrounded by the old Roman city walls, with the main attraction York Minster.  The Minster is the largest Gothis Cathedral in Europe and has an amazing amount of stained glass.
The day started 'sunny' but we had some rain during a boat cruise, then fine for the city tour and very sunny on the way home.  Thank goodness for the sun glasses!

Quite an easy drive of about 90 minutes.  We are starting to get the hang of the road system with variuos route numbers and north, south east and west directions.
