Show trip route
After dropping off the RV and dumping our luggage at the Hotel, we headed around the corner to the 'Hello Deli', its the one seen on the Dave Letterman show. Rupert the owner actually made my wonderful Hello Deli club sandwich.
We walked the four blocks up to Central Park, what a fantastic place! The park is just so enormous and diverse. Genevieve and Harry got into the swing of things with some public entertainment.
Louise and Tom headed to the Rock Observation Deck up on the Rockefeller center whilst we went to the Apple store and NINTENDO WORLD.
A late evening sudden thunderstorm got everyone off the streets, it was fun watching the crowds run for cover.
For dinner we went out to the Stardust Diner. Its a burger place where all the wait staff are young budding Broadway performers. One after another, in between waiting the tables the get up and sing, and the night we were there were all absolutely fantastic. We left after midnight and had a fantastic time there.
Our Hotel is right on Broadway, just a few blocks up from Times square, we can see it from our hotel room window.
Its very hard to decide what to do in NYC this weekend as there is so much more happening because of the long weekend for Memorial Day.
Its also the last two days of Fleet Week, its when Navy ships from around the world are in town and some of them are open for free public tours - thats were Dad and the boys are heading tomorrow morning.
