Hello everyone,

I am really getting a feel for Mexico City now as I have been here a week. I am finding my way around and have had a great week, apart from feeling totally lost in my spanish classes!!
Learning spanish is so hard!!!! I am getting away with using lots of actions which is very amusing, especially when I had to ask for bleach! I spoke to my spanish teacher and said I was finding the lessons hard and he is giving me and Emma extra lessons, yeah!! in return we are helping Mexican students improve their english. I have been helping out in lessons at the university in the afternoons. It is so great meeting Mexicans and I now realise that they are having the same problems as me in learning english!! saying that their english is very good, better than my spanish!! ha!! They worship us because we are english and love to hear us talk. It is so much fun teaching english and a great way to meet people.

Last night I went to a party, did not get to bed until 4am. Mexicans do so much partying, I am struggling to keep up!! so yeah I am very tired, burning the candle at both ends tough so must go and get some rest!

Great to get your updates, all sounds well. Am sure the language will get easier and doing the english with the uni students sounds like a great idea.
Have you heard about the hurricane due to hit Cancun province (? spelling)? Just make sure you know what to do if it comes your way.
Off to Thornbury on Saturday (and collecting new kitten), will let you know how it goes. Will miss seeing you there.
